Un kit per l’accensione manuale del fuoco, realizzato utilizzando strumenti e processi produttivi contemporanei, sofisticati ma alla portata di tutti. “Un progetto emozionante, fisico, passato attraverso mille prove e frustranti tentativi alla ricerca dell’equilibrio perfetto delle varie parti che lo compongono e alla fine quando sono riuscito a produrre il fuoco con le mie mani, ho avuto per un attimo un’intensa sensazione di autosufficienza: in fondo che altro serve…?”
Francesco Faccin - Nel 2003 inizia la sua attività professionale nello studio di Enzo Mari. Nel frattempo, come designer indipendente, collabora con aziende italiane e straniere. Nel 2009 incontra Michele De Lucchi con il quale inizia una collaborazione che dura 5 anni. Nel 2010 partecipa al SaloneSatellite per la seconda volta e vince il Design Report Award. Nel 2014 con il tavolo Traverso si aggiudica una menzione d’onore al compasso d’oro. Collabora con importanti aziende Italiane e straniere e Il suo lavoro è stato pubblicato sulle più importanti riviste, nazionali ed internazionali (Domus, Interni, Abitare, Intramuros, Wallpaper, Details, Inventario, Design Report, Monocle, Elle Decor, AD…).
A manual fire-lighting kit made with contemporary production processes and tools that are sophisticated but accessible to all. “This exciting, physical design has come through hundreds of trials and frustrating attempts at achieving a perfect balance among its various constituent parts. Francesco Faccin - In 2003, he began his career in Enzo Mari’s studio, while also working with Italian and overseas companies as an independent designer. His meeting with Michele De Lucchi in 2009 sparked a collaboration that would last 5 years. In 2010, he participated in the SaloneSatellite for the second time, winning the Design Report Award. His Traverso table gained an honourable mention in the 2014 Compasso d’Oro. He collaborates with major Italian and foreign companies, and his work has been published in the most important national and international magazines (including Domus, Interni, Abitare, Intramuros, Wallpaper, Details, Inventario, Design Report, Monocle, Elle Decor and AD).
